Old Head Beach

This beautiful curving sandy beach is an absolute gem. A lovely old pier is great for fishing off (and jumping off) and with an ancient oak wood beside it, Old Head is really worth a detour. In season paddleboards can be hired. It’s about a kilometre off the route.
