Westport
A charismatic, bustling town with a warm welcome for everyone, Westport is one of the few designed towns in Ireland. It is full of interesting and quirky shops, cafés, restaurants and pubs and has a superb range of accommodation including a campsite at Westport House. It has beautiful grounds which are open to the public free of charge. Don’t miss the lovely Quay area a kilometre from the Octagon at the town centre. Lovely shops, pubs, accommodation and picnic places plus a place to swim at high tide (at The Point, beside the football pitch).
